Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will publish in the Official Report the percentage of school meals which have been provided free of charge to pupils in each local education authority for each year from 1975 to the latest available date;

(2) how many children received, or are expected to receive, school meals in each of the last five years to 1986–87.
