§ Mr. Norman Lamont[pursuant to his reply, 15 January 1986, c. 610]: An analysis of the implications for defence procurement of the proposed merger has been made available to the Director General of Fair Trading, who is responsible for providing advice to my right hon. and learned Friend, the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on this matter.
