§ Mr. WhitneyThe Department has not sponsored any study specifically on this topic but has commissioned the social medicine and health services research unit, St.602W Thomas' hospital, London, to conduct research into the incidence of deaths in disease groups amenable to medical treatment. The final report is expected in 1987.
