§ Mr. ChannonThe only recent representations received about the level of costs involved in taking successful anti-dumping action have been from the Association of British Chambers of Commerce, which earlier this year suggested that financial support should be given to trade associations for the purpose of investigating anti-dumping cases. The government have no plans at present to provide any financial assistance to industry to590W meet such costs. The Department's anti-dumping unit does, however, provide help and advice to industries which believe they are being adversely affected by dumped imports.
