§ Mr. Norman LamontAt the instigation of the Australian Government, discussions between British and Australian officials took place in Canberra last week on those recommendations of the Australian Royal Commission's report which may affect the United Kingdom. I plan to meet Senator Evans, the Australian Minister for Resources and Energy, next week to discuss these matters. It would be premature to make a statement until the outcome of our discussions with the Australian Government has been fully considered.
