Mr. Rowe

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what information he has on the numbers of staff engaged in full or part-time teaching on courses leading to degrees in speech science, speech pathology or speech therapy and their places of employment;

(2) what information he has as to the number of students, and their place of study, sitting for examinations for degrees in speech science, speech pathology or speech therapy in 1983, 1984 and 1985 and the classification of honours awarded where appropriate;

(3) what information he has as to the numbers and location of courses at universities, polytechnics or other institution leading to degrees in speech science, speech pathology or speech therapy.
