A "Report on the Safety and Wholesomeness of Irradiated Foods" which has been presented to Health and
736WAgriculture Ministers by the Advisory Committee on Irradiated and Novel Foods will be published in the spring for public comment. Ministers will consider whether any change in the present regulations appears desirable in the light of the advice contained in the report and the representations received on it.
