§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will make a statement as to the approval, use, supply and circumstances of distribution in the United Kingdom of RU 486 abortive drug manufactured by Rousel of France.
§ Mr. HayhoeThis drug is available in relation to two clinical trials, for which the licensing authority has granted doctor's exemption certificates. One of the trials relates to the use of the drug in abortion. The doctor responsible for the trial has confirmed that it will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Abortion Act.
