HC Deb 26 February 1986 vol 92 c545W
Mr. Lyell

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received in relation to an application to fell match poplars at Blunham in Bedfordshire and return the land to horticultural use.

Mrs. Fenner

My right hon. Friend has received only one representation regarding this application, and this was from the owner of the plantation. However, the Forestry Commission is still involved in consultations on the matter with the Mid-Bedfordshire district council and under the normal procedures for dealing with disputed felling licence application it may yet seek my views before giving a decision on the application.
