Whether they are confident that sufficient two-year YTS places will be available in time.

Yes. Already some 86 per cent. of the places that we shall need from 1st April are definitely or likely to be provided, comprising 86 per cent. of basic grant places, 84 per cent. of premium places, and 93 per cent. of ITeC places. I pay tribute to the efforts of the Manpower Services Commission, managing agents and all others involved in the programme, for having risen to the challenge of two-year YTS so quickly and effectively.
