§ Mr. HayhoeSalaries and conditions of service of pharmaceutical staff in the National Health Service are matters for negotiation in the Pharmaceutical Whitley council. I understand that proposals for substantial increases in the pay of basic and staff grade pharmacists have been made by the management side of the council and are under consideration by the staff side; and that the council expects shortly to receive a report by a working party on the grading structure of hospital pharmacy staff.
