§ Mr. HayhoeThe main responsibility for health education in England, Wales and Northern Ireland rests with the Health Education Council, which is largely funded by the Government. The council has instituted a complete review of its operations with the aim of improving their effectiveness, and is also introducing improved methods of evaluating the material that it provides.
