§ Mr. Michael Forsythasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what responses there have been to his Department's booklet, "Drug Misuse and the Young", which was published in 1985.
§ Mr. DunnA great deal of interest has been shown in this booklet: to date over 150,000 copies have been issued; another 50,000 will be issued. Most of these have been distributed to schools and colleges and other copies have been requested by health education departments, the youth service, the police, the churches, television authorities, and individuals from the United Kingdom and overseas. The booklet has been generally well received and is being used in various training courses and seminars on drugs misuse and as a reference by local authority officers, teachers and others.
