Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will take steps to arrange for the first report of the Welsh cancer registry, entitled "Cancer Registration in Wales 1974–1978," to be republished in a form which analyses the data in espect of wards and enumeration districts.

There are no plans to republish the first report of the Welsh cancer registry in the form requested.

Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many women in Wales were diagnosed during 1985 to be suffering from breast cancer; and how many died from breast cancer during 1985.

Mr. Mark Robinson

A departmental working party was appointed to report to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State on regional services in North Wales, including services for cancer patients. Its recommendations are presently being considered.
