How far the service police forces forming part of the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force are applying the codes of practice made under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.

Draft codes of practice for the treatment and questioning of persons by the service police and for the identification of persons suspected of offences under the service discipline Acts were laid before Parliament on 5th December 1985. The service police have been applying these codes since 1st January 1986.
