§ Mr. David MitchellThe Serpell report emphasised that BR's maintenance and repair facilities needed to be reviewed as a whole. The British Railways Board has recently announced a restructuring of British Rail Engineering Ltd. into two separate groups from April 1986, with the Eastleigh works to form part of the BR maintenance group.
