§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what stage negotiations have reached regarding strategic defence initiative contracts with the Science and Engineering Research Council in relation to work on particle beam accelerators at the Rutherford-Appleton laboratory and at Culham.
§ Mr. Norman LamontI am not aware of any proposal for work in the area mentioned to be placed with the Science and Engineering research council.
