Q82. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Prime Minister whether she was informed about any action which was to be taken, or which had been taken, against an official in the Cabinet Office in relation to his or her conduct in contacting the private offices of Ministers to see whether they would be available for a meeting about Westland plc on Friday 13 December; and if she will make a statement.

I have nothing to add to what I told the House on 23 January, at column 449–60.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Prime Minister what action her office took on 7 January on being informed by the Attorney-General's office of his approach to the head of the Civil Service on the setting up of a leak inquiry.

The Prime Minister

I have nothing to add to the full account which I gave to the House in my statement on 23 January, at columns 449–60, and in the debate on 27 January, at columns 651–58.
