asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will give the number of full-time teachers and lecturers, and part-time, listed separately, in 1960, 1970, 1980, and at the latest available date;

(2) if he will give the number of those employed in education, who neither lecture nor teach in 1980, 1970, 1960 and at the latest available date.
