HC Deb 20 February 1986 vol 92 c313W
Mr. Simon Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the rehabilitation facilities currently available for drug addicts in each London borough.

Mr. Whitney

Most rehabilitation facilities in London serve areas greater than that of individual boroughs. We are aware of the following residential rehabilitation facilities in London:

  • Alwin House 40 Colville Terrace W11
  • Bowden House London Road, Harrow on the Hill
  • The Charter Clinic PO Box 119, Fellows Road NW3
  • The Charter Clinic 1–5 Radnor Walk SW3
  • City Roads 356–358 City Road EC1
  • Crescent House 10 St. Stephens Crescent W2
  • Deliverance International 83 Aldersbrook Road E12
  • Elizabeth House 94 Redcliffe Gardens SW10
  • Oak Lodge 136 West Hill SW15
  • Parole Release Scheme 30 Sisters Avenue SW11
  • Phoenix House 1 Eliot Bank SE23
  • The Priory Priory Lane, Roehampton SW15
  • Project 85 85 Trinity Road, Tooting SW17
  • Pye Barn Trust 16 The Chase SW4
  • ROMA 67 Talgarth Road W4
  • Two Three Five Project 235 Balham High Road SW17

We understand that there are about 45 non-residential facilities in London run by non-statutory bodies which offer a range of services including in some cases a rehabilitation service.
