§ The Prime MinisterAppointments to the Advisory Board of Research Councils are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science, who consults other Government Departments and the Chief Scientific Adviser (Cabinet Office). The composition of the Advisory Board of Research Councils is set out in "Framework for Government Research and Development" Cmnd. 5046.
