§ 105. Mr. Nicholas Brownasked the Paymaster General if he will make a statement in respect of the provision of a jobcentre in the Shields road area, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne.
§ Mr. LangThe Shields road jobcentre Portakabin premises have been abandoned following substantial damage by fire. The staff are sharing premises with colleagues at Wallsend jobcentre until alternative premises can be found for them in Byker. Negotiations to obtain new premises are proceeding.
