§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what are the intentions of Her Majesty's Government in respect of ratification of the agreement with the Government of Haiti signed at Port-au-Prince on 18 March 1985.
§ Mr. EggarThe investment promotion and protection agreement with the Government of Haiti, signed at Port-au-Prince on 18 March 1985, was laid before Parliament on 30 January 1986 and published on 31 January 1986 as Haiti No. 1 (1986), Cmnd. 9731. We intend to ratify the agreement as soon as the necessary procedures on both sides have been completed.
