§ Mr. Norman LamontA memorandum of understanding was signed in September 1985 between Jordan and the United Kingdom providing for United Kingdom Government assistance with the supply of a wide range of military equipment. The contracts to be covered by the MOU, which are being progressively placed, will provide for the commencement of work as negotiated between the companies concerned and the Jordanian Government.
