§ Mr. PattieA number of responses to the Green Paper "The Recording and Rental of Audio and Video Copyright Material" (Cmnd. 9445) were received from organisations whose membership includes musicians. These representations were generally in favour of a levy. In recent correspondence, the Musicians' Union has pressed the case for a levy.
