§ Mr. PattieThe Government have received many representations in response to the publication in February 1985 of the Green Paper "The Recording and Rental of Audio and Video Copyright Material" (Cmnd. 9445). Those making representations included copyright owners and performers; manufacturers and importers of recording equipment and blank recording tape; consumer organisations; educationists; and bodies working on behalf of the blind. Our conclusions on the issues raised in the Green Paper will be announced in a White Paper dealing with the whole of copyright law which is now in the final stages of preparation.
