§ Mr. Wyn RobertsYes. This year the Manpower Services Commission expects that around 10,200 adults will start on training courses. The provisional planned figure for next year is around 14,000, which represents a three-fold increase since 1984–85. The two-year YTS will commence in April and 27,000 young people are expected to participate in 1986–87.
