§ Mr. ButcherBritish Telecom's powers to erect telegraph poles are governed by the telecommunications code set out in schedule 2 of the Telecommunications Act 1984, though British Telecom's licence limits the application of these powers in the case of conservation areas, national parks and the like. It is not my right hon. Friend's intention to propose changes.
