§ Mr. Peter MorrisonFinancial support for merchant shipbuilding is available through the intervention fund. British Shipbuilders also receives public dividend capital. The performance of British Shipbuilders is carefully monitored against its annual corporate plan. As sponsors, my Department both monitors and supports the industry as a whole.
