§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, pursuant to his reply on 17 January, Official Report, column 746, he will publish a similar table showing the total weekly pensions on the assumption that the additional 2 per cent. contribution to personal and occupational pension schemes ceases after the first five years.
§ Mr. NewtonTables P1 to P6 in the technical annex to the White Paper were all prepared on the basis sought. The 2 per cent. incentive addition to the rebate has not been assumed to continue beyond 1992–93. This point is explained in paragraph 1.9 on page 2 of the technical annex.
