§ Mr. LeeThe Secretary of State for Defence has received representations regarding the check-off facilities from one trade union which is not a member of the Council of Civil Service Unions. That union is the Ministry of Defence Staff Association (MODSA). MODSA has recognition for two departmental groups: the royal observer corps and the mooring, salvage and boom officers. Check-off facilities have been made available for these groups.
