§ Mr. Merchantasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what further assistance he will make available to refugees and victims of the African famine.
§ Mr. RaisonI have decided to make available a further £3 million for spending in the current financial year. Of this, £1.5 million is being allocated to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees; £500,000 to the League of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies; and £1 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
