§ Mr. WhitneyDuring 1983 there were 6,968 known conceptions to girls usually resident in England and Wales who were estimated to have been aged 15 years at the time of conception. Of these, 3,108 led to maternities with live or still births and 3,860 were terminated by abortion under the 1967 Act.
