§ 44. Mr. Easthamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the implications for relations with Australia of the recent Royal Commission report on compensation for damage done by the testing of United Kingdom nuclear devices in Australia.
§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThe Royal Commission's report was a long and detailed document. Its recommendations are being discussed with the Australian Government in a positive spirit. I see no reason why the report should damage our excellent relations with Australia.
