§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Minister for the Arts what representations he has received about the production of operas by the Welsh National Opera at Llandudno; and what account he has taken of these in setting the funding of the Welsh Arts Council.
§ Mr. LuceI have received no such representations. The needs of Welsh National Opera were considered along with all other claims for funds when the grant-in-aid for the Arts Council was calculated. The allocation to the Welsh Arts Council is a matter for the Arts Council.
