asked Her Majesty's Government:

What steps they are taking to transfer the offices of the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London from County Hall after 1st April 1986.

I understand that the support services needed by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London will be provided by the London Residuary Body (LRB) after 1st April 1986. I also understand that LRB have no immediate plans to effect a transfer from County Hall.
