§ Mr. Norman Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, of the 180 applications for the five experimental community radio licences in London, how many were from (a) Greek-speaking and (b) Afro-Caribbean groups.
§ Mr. Giles ShawOf the applications for the five experimental community radio licences in London, 18 are from groups wishing to provide a service primarily for the Greek-speaking community, and 16 for the Afro-Caribbean community. However, there are other applications from groups with a range of ethnic or language backgrounds, including those mentioned, wishing to provide a diversified service.
