Mr. Hancock

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many officers and men have given notice to leave the Royal Navy in the last three years, by rank and year.

The numbers of officers and men who have given notice to leave the Royal Navy in the last three financial years, together with the numbers for the current year so far, are as follows:

These figures exclude ratings with less than six months of service who exercise their statutory right to leave.

It is not possible to provide the greater detail requested without disproportionate time and effort.
