§ Mr. Home Robertsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Edinburgh, Central (Mr. Fletcher) on 28 January, Official Report, col 427, if he will make a further statement on the funding of the proposed Agricultural Development and Advisory Service veterinary presence within the east of Scotland college of agriculture with particular reference to the relationship between the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service and the college, and the overhead costs which may be attributable to the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service presence.
§ Mr. JoplingDiscussions with the east of Scotland college of agriculture on detailed arrangements have not yet been concluded but annual accommodation and associated overhead costs payable by my Department to the college authorities in respect of the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service veterinary unit to be located there are expected to be in the order of some £34,000.
