HC Deb 19 December 1986 vol 107 c781W
Mr. Kirkwood

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many people, by region, are waiting for elective orthopaedic surgery; and what percentage have been waiting more than a year.

Mr. Newton

The latest information available centrally relates to the numbers of cases awaiting admission to National Health Service traumatic and orthopaedic departments and is included in a bound volume of the hospital in-patient waiting lists for health authorities in England at 31 March 1986, copies of which have been placed in the Library.
