Ms. Richardson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what were the number of patients, and as proportions of women, under 20 years of age attending National Health Service family planning clinics in England in each of the years 1983, 1984 and 1985, in each of the following age-groups (a) under 16 years, (b) 16–17 years, (c) 18 years, (d) 19 years and (e) under 20 years;

(2) what were the numbers of patients, and as proportions of women, attending National Health Service family planning clinics in England in each quarter year since January 1983, in each of the following age-groups (a) under 16 years, (b) 16 years, (c) 17 years, (d) 18 years, (e) 19 years, (f) under 20 years and (g) 20 to 24 years.
