§ Mr. Mellor[pursuant to his reply, 18 December 1986, c. 651]: In the light of comments which I have recently received, I am asking the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs to consider whether there now appear to be sufficient grounds to justify controlling the alkyl nitrite group of chemicals under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
