§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the bodies assisted during the past two years by the local enterprise grant for urban projects schemes and the amount of LEGUP grant obtained.
§ Mr. LangI have arranged for a list of those projects approved in principle for assistance under the local enterprise grants for urban projects scheme since 1 April 1984 to be placed in the Library. The list excludes cases where an offer of assistance was made but not subsequently taken up by the applicant.
The assistance provided by the Scottish Development Agency under the scheme can take a variety of forms and is not restricted to grant. The list shows the amount of assistance approved. The actual amount of assistance finally provided will depend on the outcome of the individual project.
