(2) if he has any plans to seek to amend the Registered Homes Act 1984.
§ Mrs. CurrieI refer the hon. Member to my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Surrey, South-West (Mrs. Bottomley) on 19 November at column217, covering a study of the effects of the Act on residential care homes. When the report of the study is available we shall be taking stock of these registration arrangements and considering whether changes in them are needed. We have no other plans at this stage.
