§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he has any plans to alter the present pay scales for medical secretaries working in the National Health Service;
(2) if he has any plans to alter the present gradings for medical secretaries working in the National Health Service.
§ Mr. NewtonPay scales and gradings for medical secretaries are matters for the administrative and clerical staffs Whitley Council but it is for employing health authorities to determine the appropriate grades of individuals posts.
