HC Deb 16 December 1986 vol 107 c526W
Mr. Crouch

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he intends in regard to the approval as an export lairage of the premises at Homestead farm, Petham, near Canterbury, in the light of the recent successful prosecution of the lairage manager for failing to comply with the minimum rest period for exported animals; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Donald Thompson

We do not propose to take special action as a result of the recent court case. However the approval of Homestead farm, in common with that of other export lairages, is reviewed annually by my Department.
