§ Dr. Godmanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he has instigated consultations with the medical profession concerning legislative implications of the recommendations contained in the Warnock report.
§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 20 November 1986, c. 333]: Preparing the consultation document on these matters which was issued as Cm. 46 on 10 December did not involve negotiations with the medical profession. Relevant medical organisations are being invited to comment on the consultation document.
