§ Mr. Peter BottomleyIn 1985 58,000 motor cycles, scooters and mopeds were involved in accidents. Of these, 10,000 skidded; 3,700 of these did so in wet, snow or ice conditions.
Trials of anti-lock braking devices are taking place. When their reliability is proven, we will consider mandatory requirements.
