§ Mr. Giles ShawThe Lawnmower (Harmonisation of Noise Emission Standards) Regulations do not apply to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. However, I would point out to my hon. Friend that it is not necessary under these regulations to make arrangements for any residents in Great Britain apart from manufacturers, their agents or importers to have their lawnmowers noise tested.
