§ The Prime MinisterFollowing the financial management unit's report, I announced in November 1984 a programme of work aimed at producing progressive value for money improvements in non-departmental public 353W bodies. By April 1986 departments had completed reviews of financial management in approximately half of all executive bodies and we are on course to complete the main programme of work by April 1987.
